MONTGOMERY at Everdon/Snorscomb

Does anyone have  information  about the Montgomery family who lived at Everdon and nearby, and specifically Snorscomb/Snoscomb in the early 1700's? I have a will of a Francis Montgomery, Gent, who died there around 1717. I believe the family links with Wormleighton. My husband's gg...grandfather was probably this Francis' son, another Francis who was noted as 'Gent, Althrop' on his daughter Joyce's marriage settlement in 1726. She married John Church of Brington and lived there.

30.6.08
The Lee family

I a trying to trace information about Richard Lee who was a miller/bakery in the village in the 1820/30's. He married a Jane Bird from the village in the early  1820's. They had a number of sons, one of which is  my descendant  George who became a shoe maker in the village during the 1840/50's. Some of the Lee family then moved a few miles up the road to Badby in the late 19th century.

Thomas (jnr) married Emma Matilda Goodall in 1870 and then travelled to New Zealand. If you have any information, please contact me at email: kez424@iprimus.com.au

Wildegosse/Wildgoose/Wildgose

Brothers John and Robert Wildegosse (variants include Wildgoose and Wilgose) were surgeons in Daventry and London in about 1800. Robert was also a botanist who worked with his (unnamed) sister and there was a third brother, Charles. Their parents were John and Mary. I believe John Snr. may have brother to William Wildgoose who was baptised at Everdon on 3rd. October 1716 with parents William Wildgoose and Mary Rodgers. I wonder if these names ring any bells.
